Red Hat SummitChapter 6. Deprecated and removed features
This section lists features that have been deprecated or removed from RHADS - SSC. Deprecated functionalities remain fully supported, which means we continue to test and maintain them. However, deprecated features will be removed in future releases of RHADS - SSC, and they are not recommended for new deployments.
MinIO is no longer used
The MinIO object storage system has been replaced, and RHADS - SSC now relies on Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation which is automatically deployed by the TSSC installer during installation.
Apache Kafka is no longer used
With this release, RHADS - SSC doesn’t install the Apache Kafka operator. It was required by earlier versions of RHTPA but RHTPA 2.x no longer has this dependency.
