Cryostat 2.2 removes some features because of their high maintenance costs, low community interest, and better alternative solutions.
Removed support for OpenShift Operator CRDs
You cannot use the FlightRecorder or the Recording custom resources definitions (CRD) with Cryostat 2.2. Cryostat includes the HTTP REST API and the GraphQL API that provide the same functionality as the OpenShift Operator’s CRDs. Additionally, the Cryostat APIs include more features than these CRDs.
