13.4. About Asynchronous Cache Store Modifications

In Red Hat JBoss Data Grid, modifications to asynchronous cache stores are coalesced or aggregated for the interval that is being applied by the modification thread. This ensures that multiple modifications for the same key are detected, only the last state of the key is applied. This improves efficiency by reducing the number of calls to the cache store.
