Chapter 5. Removed features


This section lists breaking changes in Red Hat Developer Hub 1.10.

Operator no longer deletes user-created resources if features are disabled in CR
Starting with this release, Operator doesn’t automatically delete user-created resources when features such as Route, localDB or Monitoring are disabled in the CR. Instead, you must delete such resources manually.
OCM plugin removed
As of this release, the OCM plugin and wrapper have been removed.
Change of support level for selected Technology Preview plugins

With this release, the following plugin has moved from Technology Preview to Community support.

  • roadie-backstage-plugins/plugins/scaffolder-actions/scaffolder-backend-argocd
Note

The plugin has been removed as an embedded wrapper. To continue using roadie-backstage-plugins/plugins/scaffolder-actions/scaffolder-backend-argocd, you must use an oci:// path reference instead.

Change of support level for selected GA plugins

The following plugins have been downgraded from GA to Community support, and have been removed as embedded wrappers.

  • backstage-community-plugin-quay
  • backstage-community-plugin-scaffolder-backend-module-quay-dynamic
  • backstage-community-plugin-tekton
  • roadiehq-scaffolder-backend-argocd-dynamic
Note

To continue using the plugins, you must use an oci:// path reference instead.
