Red Hat Summit14.7.12. Triggering a Reset for a Node
The
nodedev-reset nodedev command triggers a device reset for the specified nodedev. Running this command is useful prior to transferring a node device between guest virtual machine passthrough and the host physical machine. libvirt will do this action implicitly when required, but this command allows an explicit reset when needed.
