A.4. tuned
Tuned is a tuning daemon that can adapt the operating system to perform better under certain workloads by setting a tuning profile. It can also be configured to react to changes in CPU and network use and adjusts settings to improve performance in active devices and reduce power consumption in inactive devices.
To configure dynamic tuning behavior, edit the
dynamic_tuning
parameter in the /etc/tuned/tuned-main.conf
file. Tuned then periodically analyzes system statistics and uses them to update your system tuning settings. You can configure the time interval in seconds between these updates with the update_interval
parameter.
