6.3. Starting and Enabling Services

Execute the following commands to enable and run rpcbind on all the nodes hosting the gluster pod :

# systemctl add-wants multi-user rpcbind.service
# systemctl enable rpcbind.service
# systemctl start rpcbind.service

Execute the following command to check the status of rpcbind

# systemctl status rpcbind

rpcbind.service - RPC bind service
   Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/rpcbind.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)
   Active: active (running) since Wed 2017-08-30 21:24:21 IST; 1 day 13h ago
 Main PID: 9945 (rpcbind)
   CGroup: /system.slice/rpcbind.service
           └─9945 /sbin/rpcbind -w
