4.5. Re-Installing the Server

When the JBoss ON server is initially configured, there is a set of flags in the rhq-server.properties which indicates that this is an initial setup instead of an upgrade (rhq.autoinstaller.*). When the initial configuration is complete, is complete, the autoinstaller is disabled (so even setting the rhq.autoinstaller.* properties in rhq-server.properties does not re-initiate the server configuration).
To re-install the server, remove the entire home directory for the server, and then unzip the original JBoss ON server archive and configure the server as if it were all new, as in Section 3.7, “Basic Setup: Installing the Server on Linux”.
