Red Hat Summit2.2. RPM Installation Files
RPM installation packages for JBoss Enterprise Web Server 2 are available from Red Hat Network (RHN, refer to Section 2.6, “Installing Enterprise Web Server from RPM Packages”). Installation from RPM packages integrates the web server with the
service command and installs its resources into absolute paths. The RPM installation option is only available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 and 6.
Warning
RPM installation shares Java library files. Library version conflicts occur when Enterprise Web Server coexists with the Enterprise Application Platform and both were installed from RPM packages. To workaround the issue, install one software with RPM, and the other from a ZIP file.
