9.10.8. Configuring Node Settings

The following instructions describe how to configure the settings for your chosen host names and domain name.

Procedure 9.10. To Configure the Node Host Settings:

Open the /etc/openshift/node.conf file and set the value of PUBLIC_IP to the IP address of the node host.
Set the value of CLOUD_DOMAIN to the domain you are using for your OpenShift Enterprise installation.
Set the value of PUBLIC_HOSTNAME to the host name of the node host.
Set the value of BROKER_HOST to the host name or IP address of your broker host (Host 1).
Open the /etc/openshift/env/OPENSHIFT_BROKER_HOST file and enter the host name of your broker host (Host 1).
Open the /etc/openshift/env/OPENSHIFT_CLOUD_DOMAIN file and enter the domain you are using for your OpenShift Enterprise installation.

Run the following command to set the appropriate ServerName in the node host's Apache configuration:

# sed -i -e "s/ServerName .*\$/ServerName `hostname`/" \
/etc/httpd/conf.d/000001_openshift_origin_node_servername.conf
