概要

このガイドでは、Red Hat Service Interconnect を紹介し、サービスネットワークを説明します。
Red Hat Service Interconnect は、オープンソースの Skupper プロジェクトの Red Hat ビルドです。

第1章 主な特長

Red Hat Service Interconnect は、オープンソースの Skupper プロジェクトの Red Hat ビルドです。Skupper は、ハイブリッドクラウド全体でサービスをリンクするサービスネットワークを導入します。

サービスネットワークにより、異なるネットワークロケーションで実行しているサービス間の通信が有効になります。これにより、地理的に分散したサービスが、すべて同じサイト内で実行しているかのように接続できます。

サービスネットワークの概要

以下は、Skupper の主な機能です。

  • プライベートサイトからパブリックサイトへの接続: 特定のサービスとポートのみをリモートサイトに公開します。
  • 最小限の労力: いくつかの skupper CLI コマンドで、あるサイトから別のサイトにサービスを公開できます。
  • セキュリティー: すべてのクロスサイト通信に mTLS を使用します。
  • サービスの負荷分散とフェイルオーバー。

第2章 サポートされる標準およびプロトコル

Red Hat Service Interconnect は、サイトリンクについて次の TLS バージョンをサポートします。

  • TLS 1.2
  • TLS 1.3

コマンドラインインターフェイス

ルーター

Kubernetes ベースのサイトで使用するほか、コンテナーまたはマシンのゲートウェイとして使用します。

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 x86-64 および aarch64
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 x86-64 および aarch64
注記

Red Hat Service Interconnect は、メッセージングルーターとしてのスタンドアロン使用はサポートされていません。

Red Hat Service Interconnect Operator

Operator は OpenShift 4.x でのみサポートされます。

OpenShift のバージョン

  • OpenShift 3.11
  • OpenShift 4.12、4.13、4.14、4.15 および 4.16
  • ROSA および ARO
  • OpenShift Container Platform および OpenShift Dedicated

必要なコンポーネントをクラスターにミラーリングすることにより、非接続ネットワークに Red Hat Service Interconnect をインストールすることがサポートされています。

Ingress タイプ

  • LoadBalancer
  • OpenShift ルート

CPU アーキテクチャー

  • x86_64 および AArch64

Multiarch サイト：

aarch64 アーキテクチャークラスターまたは Linux ホスト上に作成されたサイトは テクニカルプレビュー機能 です。

Windows および macOS CLI

Windows および macOS 用の Skupper CLI は、テクニカルプレビュー機能 です。

Kubernetes ディストリビューション

Red Hat は Kubernetes の CNCF 認定ディストリビューション 上で Red Hat Service Interconnect を実行するためのサポートを提供します。

ただし、Red Hat Service Interconnect は OpenShift でのみテストされている点に注意してください。

Ingress タイプ

  • Contour
  • Nginx - これには、TLS パススルーの設定が必要です
  • NodePort

Upgrades

Red Hat は、1 つのダウンストリームマイナーバージョンから次のマイナーバージョンへと、連続したアップグレードをサポートしています。Red Hat はマイナーバージョン間の互換性を確保することを目指していますが、すべてのサイトを最新バージョンにアップグレードすることを推奨します。

注記

Kafka クライアントなど、長時間継続する接続を必要とするアプリケーションがある場合は、OpenShift ルートなどのプロキシー入力ではなく、ロードバランサーを Ingress として使用することを検討してください。OpenShift ルートを Ingress として使用すると、ルートが設定されるたびに中断が発生することが予想されます。

多様性を受け入れるオープンソースの強化
