Chapter 20. Configuring and running standalone Business Central
You can use the Business Central standalone JAR file to run Business Central without deploying it to an application server. You can use sample configuration files to run the Business Central standalone JAR file out of the box or you can customize the sampfiles for your requirements.
This JAR file is supported only when it is run on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Prerequisites

The Red Hat Decision Manager 7.12.0 Business Central Standalone (
rhdm-7.12.0-decision-central-standalone.jar) and the Red Hat Decision Manager 7.12.0 Add Ons (rhdm-7.12.0-add-ons.zip) files have been downloaded from the Software Downloads page for Red Hat Decision Manager 7.12, as described in Chapter 12, Downloading the Red Hat Decision Manager installation files.
Procedure

Extract the downloaded
rhdm-7.12.0-addons.zipto a temporary directory. This archive includes therhdm-7.12.0-standalone-sample-configuration.zipfile. Extract the
rhdm-7.12.0-standalone-sample-configuration.zipfile to the directory that contains therhdm-7.12.0-decision-central-standalone.jarfile. Therhdm-7.12.0-standalone-sample-configuration.zipfile contains the following sample configuration files:-
application-script.cli: Sample script for adding a user and kie server system properties kie-fs-realm-users: Sample user dataYou can run the
rhdm-7.12.0-decision-central-standalone.jarfiles with the sample data provided in the configuration files or you can customize the data for your requirements.

To customize the configuration data, complete the following steps:
Edit the
application-script.clifile to include an administrative user withadmin,user,rest-all,rest-clientandkie-serverroles. To run the Business Central standalone JAR file, enter the following command:
