Using SSSD, authselect, and sssctl to configure authentication and authorization
Abstract
You can configure Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) to authenticate and authorize users to Red Hat Identity Management (IdM), Active Directory (AD), and LDAP directories RHEL uses the System Security Services Daemon (SSSD) to communicate with these services. The `authselect` and `sssctl` utilities assist you in configuring SSSD, Pluggable Authentication Modules (PAM) and the Name Service Switch (NSS).
