Chapter 1. April 2026

Support for NVIDIA Multi-Instance GPUs
Modern NVIDIA GPUs support Multi-Instance GPU (MIG), a GPU virtualization technology to partition the GPU into a maximum of seven instances, referred to as GPU slices. If you use MIG profiles, the costs are distributed proportionally based on the number of slices used by each pod. See Create a cost model for an OpenShift Container Platform cluster in Using cost models.
Efficiency scores
You can use the efficiency scores of your CPU and memory resource usage to translate technical optimization into business value. Efficiency scores put a monetary value on savings and waste. For more information, see Understanding efficiency scores in Getting started with resource optimization.
