This part describes bugs fixed in Red Hat Certificate System 9.6 that have a significant impact on users:

Certificate System now fully supports AES key derivation for SCP03

Previously, the Token Management System (TMS) subsystems (TPS and TKS) supported Secure Channel Protocol 3 (SCP03), but functionality was limited. With this update, administrators can manage SCP03 cards that require full AES key derivation support. Administrators can also create an AES-based master key using the new `pistool` utility, create secure channels to the token, and upgrade the key set on the token with the AES master key.
