Red Hat Summit5.5. Starting the Red Hat Gluster Storage Volume
- In the Volumes tab, select the new volume and click to start the volume.The volume status changes to Up.

If you are using Red Hat Gluster Storage Volumes for hosting Virtual Machine images, you must optimize the volume before attaching the volume to the storage domain.
