Chapter 1. Installing the client package

Install the Insights client on each system.

Procedure

Enter the following command to install the current version of the Insights client:
```
[root@server ~]# yum install insights-client
```

1.1. Configuring authentication

Once you have installed the client package, you need to configure authentication. Use one of two methods:

Activation keys (recommended)
Registering the Insights client with Red Hat Subscription Manager (RHSM)
