Chapter 1. Supported Configurations

The following configurations are newly supported for JBoss EAP 7.2.

Java Virtual Machine
  • OpenJDK 8 for Windows Server
  • OpenJDK 11 for Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 1
  • Oracle JDK 11 1

1 JDK 11 support does not include deploying JPMS (Java Platform Module System) user modules to the server.

Databases and Database Connectors
  • IBM DB2 e11.1
  • PostgreSQL 10.1
  • EnterpriseDB Postgres Plus Advanced Server 10.1
JMS Providers and Adapters
  • IBM MQ 9
Red Hat Developer Studio
  • JBoss EAP 7.2 is certified for use with Red Hat Developer Studio 12.
