Chapter 20. Configuring and running standalone Business Central
You can use the Business Central standalone JAR file to run Business Central without deploying it to an application server. You can use sample configuration files to run the Business Central standalone JAR file out of the box or you can customize the sampfiles for your requirements.
This JAR file is supported only when it is run on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Prerequisites

The Red Hat Process Automation Manager 7.11.0 Business Central Standalone (
rhpam-7.11.0-business-central-standalone.jar) and the Red Hat Process Automation Manager 7.11.0 Add Ons (rhpam-7.11.0-add-ons.zip) files have been downloaded from the Software Downloads page for Red Hat Process Automation Manager 7.11, as described in Chapter 12, Downloading the Red Hat Process Automation Manager installation files.
Procedure

Extract the downloaded
rhpam-7.11.0-addons.zipto a temporary directory. This archive includes therhpam-7.11.0-standalone-sample-configuration.zipfile. Extract the
rhpam-7.11.0-standalone-sample-configuration.zipfile to the directory that contains therhpam-7.11.0-business-central-standalone.jarfile. Therhpam-7.11.0-standalone-sample-configuration.zipfile contains the following sample configuration files:-
application-roles.properties -
application-users.properties sample-standalone-config.ymlYou can run the
rhpam-7.11.0-business-central-standalone.jarfiles with the sample data provided in the configuration files or you can customize the data for your requirements.

To customize the configuration data, complete the following steps:
Edit the
application-users.propertiesfile. Include an administrative user and if this Business Central instance will be a Process Automation Manager controller for KIE Server, include a Process Automation Manager controller user, for example:rhpamAdmin=password1

Review the contents of the
sample-standalone-config.ymlconfiguration file and update as required.
To run the Business Central standalone JAR file, enter the following command:
