Chapter 2. New features and enhancements

A list of all major enhancements, and new features introduced in this release of Red Hat Trusted Profile Analyzer (RHTPA).

The features and enhancements added by this release are:

Improved SBOM bulk upload performance

With this release, we improved application performance when doing a bulk upload of Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) documents. You can use the /api/v2/dataset endpoint to do bulk uploads of your SBOMs.

Added support for S3 endpoints with custom trust anchors

With this release, we added support for Simple Storage Service (S3) endpoints with custom trust anchors for RHTPA deployments.

Importers for advisory and vulnerability data

An importer in RHTPA gives you the ability to fetch advisory and vulnerability data from different remote sources. Then RHTPA uses this data to give you more insights when analyzing your Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) and Common Security Advisory Framework (CSAF) documents. See the RHTPA Administration Guide for more details.
