Chapter 3. Compatibility matrix for Red Hat Ceph Storage 4.2
The following tables list products and their versions compatible with Red Hat Ceph Storage (RHCS) 4.2.

All nodes in the cluster and their clients must use the supported OS version(s) to ensure that the version of the ceph package is the same on all nodes. Using different versions of the ceph package is not supported.
Red Hat no longer supports using Ubuntu as a host operating system to deploy Red Hat Ceph Storage.
