Chapter 7. Updating Directory Server to a new minor version
Red Hat frequently releases updated versions of Red Hat Directory Server 13. Lean how to update the Directory Server packages to a new minor version.

Use the dnf utility to update the module, which also automatically updates the related packages.
Prerequisites
- You have a valid Red Hat Directory Server subscription in your Red Hat account.
- You enabled RHEL and Directory Server repositories as described in the Enabling Directory Server repositories section.
- You have installed Directory Server packages. For details, see Installing the Directory Server packages.
Procedure
Update the Directory Server packages and their dependencies to the latest available version:
# dnf update 389-ds-base cockpit-389-dsThe update process automatically restarts the
