Chapter 2. Compatibility Matrix for Red Hat Ceph Storage 7.1
The following tables list products and their versions compatible with Red Hat Ceph Storage 7.1.

All nodes in the cluster and their clients must use the supported OS version(s) to ensure that the version of the
cephpackage is the same on all nodes. Using different versions of thecephpackage is not supported. - Ubuntu is not supported as a deploying host operating system.
- Red Hat Ceph Storage 7.1 supports Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 with bootstrap node.
- Red Hat Ceph Storage 7.1 supports Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 with client RPM only.
