Updated gnome-vfs2 packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.

The gnome-vfs2 packages provide the GNOME virtual file system (GNOME VFS) which is the foundation of the Nautilus file manager.

Bug Fix

BZ#972702: A recent upgrade that modified the behavior of the stat() function to better support symbolic links caused the Nautilus file manager to not display the items in the Trash directory. The underlying source code was unable to find the right path of the Trash directory, making the Trash directory appear empty. With this update, an extra stat() call is in place to ensure the right information is provided, and moving files to the Trash directory now works as expected.

Users of gnome-vfs2 are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix this bug.
