The topic of web development is too broad to be captured with a few simple instructions. This section offers only the best supported paths for the development of web applications on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
To set up your environment for developing traditional web applications, install the Apache web server, PHP runtime, and MariaDB database server and tools.
# yum install httpd mariadb-server php-mysql php
Alternatively, more recent versions of these applications are available as components of Red Hat Software Collections.
# yum install httpd24 rh-mariadb102 rh-php73
