12.5. The CarMart Quickstart Using a JBoss Server

Procedure 12.1. Build and Deploy CarMart to the JBoss Server

1. Start the JBoss Server

   Navigate to the root of the JBoss server directory in a terminal window and enter the following command:
   For Linux users:

   $JBOSS_HOME/bin/standalone.sh

   Copy to Clipboard Toggle word wrap
   For Windows users:

   $JBOSS_HOME\bin\standalone.bat

   Copy to Clipboard Toggle word wrap

2. Build and Deploy the Application

   Use the following command to build and deploy the application using Maven:

   $ mvn clean package jboss-as:deploy
