Camel REST DSL により、JAX-RS コンシューマーとして動作する Camel ルートを書き込むことができます。以下の RouteBuilder クラスがこれを示しています。

バインディングモードを設定することで、Camel は 'produces()' または 'type()' 設定ステップのいずれかを指定することにより、JSON データをマーシャリングおよびアンマーシャリングできます。
