Chapter 2. January 2025
2.1. Product-wide Updates
2.1.1. PagerDuty integration
Red Hat Hybrid Cloud Console now integrates with PagerDuty. This integration sends events detected by Insights and the Hybrid Cloud Console from the console to PagerDuty. When an issue in the Hybrid Cloud Console occurs, PagerDuty automatically notifies the relevant team members through phone calls, SMS, emails, or push notifications.
PagerDuty uses scheduling to ensure that team members only receive alerts during their designated on-call periods. You can create escalation policies to escalate an issue to another team member if the first on-call team member does not respond to the alert. PagerDuty also provides incident management features for a coordinated response to resolve issues.
