9.3. Run Red Hat JBoss Data Virtualization on an Azure Instance
- Go here to learn how to create an Azure virtual machine: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/linux/tutorial-manage-vm.
- Connect to the Azure virtual machine using SSH.
- Copy the Red Hat JBoss Data Virtualization installer to that machine over SSH.
- Run the installer as per normal:
java -jar jboss-dv-VERSION-installer.jar
- To start the server, add the following parameters to bind the management and host ports:
-Djboss.bind.address.management=0.0.0.0
-b 0.0.0.0
Here is an example:./standalone.sh -Djboss.bind.address.management=0.0.0.0 -b 0.0.0.0
