Chapter 20. Role-based access control for branches in Business Central

Procedure

1. In Business Central, go to Menu Design Projects.

2. If needed, add a new contributor:

   1. Click the project name and then click the Contributors tab.
   2. Click Add Contributor.
   3. Enter user name in the text field.
   4. Select the Contributor role type from the drop-down list.
   5. Click Ok.

3. Customize role-based branch access for the relevant contributor:

   1. Click Settings Branch Management.
   2. Select the branch name from the drop-down list.
   3. In the Role Access section, select or deselect the permissions check boxes to specify role-based branch access for each available role type.
   4. Click Save and click Save again to confirm your changes.
