Chapter 1. The RHEL 8 maintenance phase
Starting with version 8.10, RHEL enters the maintenance support phase. In this phase, Red Hat provides only security fixes and selected high-priority bug fixes. For details, see Red Hat Enterprise Linux Life Cycle - Maintenance Support Phase.
If you require a distribution for which Red Hat provides full support, including all security fixes, bug fixes, and new functionality, consider adopting RHEL 9. For details, see Considerations in adopting RHEL 9.
