4.5. Inspecting remote images


Use the skopeo inspect command to display information about an image from a remote container registry before you pull the image to your system.

Prerequisites

  • The container-tools meta-package is installed.

Procedure

  • Inspect the registry.redhat.io/ubi10/ubi-init image:

    # skopeo inspect docker://registry.redhat.io/ubi10/ubi-init
