5.2. 在 Google Cloud Platform 上准备虚拟机

流程

1. 将您的 GCP 项目连接到 Red Hat Hybrid Cloud Console。如需更多信息，请参阅将 GCP 项目连接到 Red Hat Hybrid Cloud Console。

2. 使用转换工具包构建 RHEL 镜像。

   1. 进入 Red Hat Hybrid Cloud Console 中的 Services > Inventories > Images。
   2. 点 Create image。
   3. 在 Image output 屏幕中，从 Release 菜单中选择 Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8。
   4. 确保已选中 x86_64 架构。
   5. 在 Select target environments 下，选择 Google Cloud Platform。
   6. 点击 Next。
   7. 在 Select image shared 下，确保已选中 Share image with Google account。
   8. 选择您的帐户类型并输入您的 GCP 凭证。
   9. 点击 Next。
   10. 在 Register 屏幕上，在 Registration 方法 下，确保选择了 Automatically register…​。
   11. 选择您的激活码。
   12. 点击 Next。
   13. 在 文件系统配置 屏幕上，确保选择了 Use automatic partitioning。
   14. 点击 Next。
   15. 在 Additional Red Hat packages 屏幕中，点 Next。
   16. 在 Custom 存储库 屏幕上，单击 Next。
   17. 在 Details 屏幕中，输入镜像的名称，并选择性地输入描述。
   18. 点击 Next。
   19. 查看镜像详情。
   20. 点 Create image。
3. 在 GCP 上启动镜像。红帽建议您选择 e2-standard-8 作为机器类型。如需更多信息，请参阅在 Google Cloud Platform 上启动自定义 RHEL 镜像。
