6.3. Setting The Client ID

The client ID for a JMS client is needed to create durable subscriptions. It is possible to configure this on the connection factory in JBOSS_DIST/jboss-as/server/<PROFILE>/deploy/hornetq/hornetq-jms.xml, and can be set via the <client-id> directive. Any connection created by this connection factory will have this set as its client ID.
