Logging

Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS 4

Logging installation, usage, and release notes on Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS

Red Hat OpenShift Documentation Team

Abstract

This document provides instructions for configuring OpenShift Logging in Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA).

Chapter 1. About Logging

As a cluster administrator, you can deploy logging on your Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS cluster, and use it to collect and aggregate node system audit logs, application container logs, and infrastructure logs.

You can use logging to perform the following tasks:

  • Forward logs to your chosen log outputs, including on-cluster, Red Hat managed log storage.
  • Visualize your log data in the Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS web console.
Note

Because logging releases on a different cadence from Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS, the logging documentation is available as a separate documentation set at Red Hat OpenShift Logging.
