Chapter 47. limit


This chapter describes the commands under the limit command.

47.1. limit create

Create a limit

Usage:

openstack limit create [-h] [-f {json,shell,table,value,yaml}]
                              [-c COLUMN] [--noindent] [--prefix PREFIX]
                              [--max-width <integer>] [--fit-width]
                              [--print-empty] [--description <description>]
                              [--region <region>] --project <project>
                              --service <service> --resource-limit
                              <resource-limit>
                              <resource-name>

<resource-name>

The name of the resource to limit

Show this help message and exit

--description <description>

Description of the limit

--region <region>

Region for the limit to affect.

--project <project>

Project to associate the resource limit to

--service <service>

Service responsible for the resource to limit

--resource-limit <resource-limit>

The resource limit for the project to assume

--fit-width

Fit the table to the display width. implied if --max- width greater than 0. Set the environment variable CLIFF_FIT_WIDTH=1 to always enable

--print-empty

Print empty table if there is no data to show.

                            [--print-empty] [--sort-column SORT_COLUMN]
                            [--service <service>]
                            [--resource-name <resource-name>]
                            [--region <region>] [--project <project>]

--service <service>

Service responsible for the resource to limit

--resource-name <resource-name>

The name of the resource to limit

--region <region>

Region for the registered limit to affect.

--project <project>

List resource limits associated with project
