8.11. Removing the Overcloud
The whole Overcloud can be removed when desired.
Procedure 8.2. Removing the Overcloud
- Delete any existing Overcloud:
heat stack-delete overcloud
$ heat stack-delete overcloudCopy to Clipboard Copied! Toggle word wrap Toggle overflow - Confirm the deletion of the Overcloud:
heat stack-list
$ heat stack-listCopy to Clipboard Copied! Toggle word wrap Toggle overflow Deletion takes a few minutes.
Once the removal completes, follow the standard steps in the deployment scenarios to recreate your Overcloud.
