Browse and view collections

Browse the collection catalog in Ansible automation portal to discover Ansible collections from configured content sources, including Git repositories and private automation hub.

Before you begin

  • You have the ansible.collections.view permission granted.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Collections in the sidebar.
  2. Browse or search for collections by name.
  3. Filter by source (certified, community, Git-sourced).
  4. Click a collection to view its details, including metadata, readme, dependencies, and a link to the source repository.

What to do next

If expected collections are missing, verify with your AAP administrator that the content source is configured and synced.
