7.2.2. Removing an Agent on a JBoss ON Server Machine

  1. Stop the agent service.
    [root@server ~]# serverRoot/jon-server-3.2.GA/bin/rhqctl.sh stop --agent
  2. Remove the agent.
    [root@server ~]# serverRoot/jon-server-3.2.GA/bin/rhqctl remove --agent
  3. Delete the agent from JBoss ON topology.
    1. In the JBoss ON UI, click the Administration tab in the top menu.
    2. In the Topology section in the left menu, select the Agents item.
    3. Select the row for the agent to delete, in the list of installed agents.
    4. Click the Delete button at the bottom of the page.
    5. Confirm that the agent should be deleted.
