Known issues with the REST API in Red Hat Update Infrastructure

The following are known issues with the REST (Representational State Transfer) API (Application Programming Interface) in Red Hat Update Infrastructure and workarounds for those issues.

  • If you disable the API after it was enabled (by reinstalling Red Hat Update Infrastructure with restapi_support_enabled: False), the API will not be available anymore, but some of the configuration will remain. Consequently, attempts to use the API will be handled as HTTP 502 errors rather than HTTP 404 errors.
  • The /cds/k8s API call can occasionally take too long to complete successfully. Please try the API call again.
