概要
第1章 Builds の概要
Builds は Shipwright プロジェクト に基づく拡張可能なビルドフレームワークであり、Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS クラスターでコンテナーイメージを構築するのに使用できます。Source-to-Image (S2I) や Buildah などのイメージビルドツールを使用して、ソースコードおよび Dockerfile からコンテナーイメージをビルドできます。ビルドリソースを作成して適用し、ビルド実行のログを表示し、Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS でビルドを管理できます。
ビルドには以下の機能が含まれます。
- ソースコードと Dockerfile からコンテナーイメージを構築するための標準 Kubernetes ネイティブ API
- Source-to-Image (S2I) および Buildah ビルドストラテジーのサポート
- 独自のカスタムビルドストラテジーによる拡張性
- ローカルディレクトリー内のソースコードからのビルドの実行
- Shipwright CLI によるログの作成と表示、およびクラスター上におけるビルドの管理
- Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS Web コンソールの Developer パースペクティブによる統合ユーザーエクスペリエンス
Builds は Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS とは異なるペースでリリースされるため、Builds ドキュメントは 、builds for Red Hat OpenShift で別のドキュメントセットとして利用できるようになりました。
