15장. Changing basic environment settings

Procedure

1. To list available keymaps:

   $ localectl list-keymaps
   ANSI-dvorak
   al
   al-plisi
   amiga-de
   de
   de-nodeadkeys
   ...

2. Optional: Display the current keymap settings:

   $ localectl status
   ...
   VC Keymap: us
   ...

3. Change the system keymap, for example:

   # localectl set-keymap de-nodeadkeys
