红帽全球峰会18.3.6. Automating the Initial Configuration of Cloud Instances Using cloud-init
For the initial configuration of cloud instances, you can use the cloud-init package. On a new cloud instance, cloud-init can automatically:
- set the default locale
- configure the host name
- configure network interfaces
- generate private SSH keys
- add SSH keys to the user's
.ssh/authorized_keysdirectory - set up ephemeral mount points
