The status command displays the tiering volume information.

# gluster volume tier VOLNAME status

For example,

gluster volume tier test-volume status

# gluster volume tier test-volume status
Node                 Promoted files       Demoted files        Status
---------            ---------            ---------            ---------
localhost            1                    5                    in progress
server1              0                    2                    in progress
