6.3. Connect JBDS to a Remote Red Hat JBoss Data Virtualization Server
If you want to connect JBDS to a remote Data Virtualization server, you must also have Data Virtualization installed on the local EAP machine on which JBDS is running. Simply copying over the
standalone.xml file does not work.
Note
You do not need to set up the users on the local machine.
