지원 설치 관리자를 사용하여 온프레미스 하드웨어 또는 온프레미스 VM에 OpenShift Container Platform을 설치할 수 있습니다. 지원 설치 관리자를 사용하여 OpenShift Container Platform을 설치하면 x86_64,AArch64,ppc64le 및 s390x CPU 아키텍처가 지원됩니다.
1.1. 지원 설치 프로그램 사용
지원 설치 프로그램은 Red Hat Hybrid Cloud Console 에서 제공되는 사용자 친화적인 설치 솔루션입니다. 지원 설치 프로그램은 베어 메탈, Nutanix 및 vSphere 인프라에 중점을 두고 다양한 배포 플랫폼을 지원합니다.
지원 설치 관리자는 설치 기능을 서비스로 제공합니다. SaaS(Software-as-a-Service) 접근 방식에는 다음과 같은 이점이 있습니다.
- 웹 사용자 인터페이스: 웹 사용자 인터페이스는 사용자가 수동으로 설치 구성 파일을 생성할 필요 없이 클러스터 설치를 수행합니다.
- 부트스트랩 노드 없음: 지원 설치 프로그램으로 설치할 때 부트스트랩 노드가 필요하지 않습니다. 부트스트랩 프로세스는 클러스터 내의 노드에서 실행됩니다.

- OpenShift Container Platform 설치 프로그램을 로컬로 설치하고 실행할 필요가 없습니다.
- 최신 버전의 설치 프로그램이 테스트된 최신 z-stream 릴리스까지 확인합니다. 필요한 경우 이전 버전은 계속 사용할 수 있습니다.
- OpenShift Container Platform 설치 프로그램을 로컬로 실행할 필요 없이 API를 사용하여 자동화를 활성화합니다.
- 고급 네트워킹: 지원 설치 프로그램은 IPv4 및 IPv6 네트워킹과 함께 OVN-Kubernetes 네트워크 플러그인, NMState 기반 고정 IP 주소 지정 및 HTTP/S 프록시를 사용한 듀얼 스택 네트워킹을 지원합니다. OVN-Kubernetes는 OpenShift Container Platform 4.12 이상 릴리스의 기본 CNI(Container Network Interface)입니다. 지원 설치 관리자는 선택적 HTTP/S 프록시를 포함하여 연결된 환경에서 온프레미스에 OpenShift Container Platform 설치를 지원합니다. 다음을 설치할 수 있습니다.
- 고가용성 OpenShift Container Platform 또는 단일 노드 OpenShift (SNO)
