6.7. Certificate System Operating System Users and Groups

When installing Certificate System, the pkiuser account and the corresponding pkiuser group are automatically created. Certificate System uses this account and group to start services.

As part of a post-installation procedure, you will later be instructed to create an operating system user for each Certificate System administrator who should be able to start and stop or directly configure the instance on the operating system. For details, see the Section 7.10, “Post-installation Tasks”.
