Install the OpenShift API for Data Protection (OADP) Operator on OpenShift Container Platform 4.20 by using Operator Lifecycle Manager (OLM).
The OADP Operator installs Velero 1.16.

Install the OADP Operator by using the OpenShift Container Platform web console.
Prerequisites

You must be logged in as a user with
cluster-adminprivileges.
Procedure

In the OpenShift Container Platform web console, click Ecosystem
Software Catalog. - Use the Filter by keyword field to find the OADP Operator.
- Select the OADP Operator and click Install.

Click Install to install the Operator in the
openshift-adpproject. -
Click Ecosystem
Installed Operators to verify the installation.
