4.8. SNMP

In Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4 and previous, Net-SNMP shipped its configuration file readable to any user on the system. Since configuration files can contain sensitive information like passwords, as of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5, the configuration file is readable only by root.
This change affects user scripts that attempt to access the SNMP configuration file, /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf.
