The standard FBC release workflow includes two steps:

1. Build, test, and release the operator bundle
2. Add the released bundle to the OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) catalog

You can now automate the second step by using the auto-release feature. Enable the auto-release feature to automatically update the catalog.

After submitting a pull request with the new bundle and the release-config.yaml file, the release pipeline takes care of the rest. It creates and merges a follow-up pull request that contains the necessary catalog changes. Here’s an example of an auto-generated catalog PR.".
